Carl with his hand on his chest

Hey, it's your buddy Carl

Sounds like it's getting heated. Want to take a break with me before you send this?

Why it matters

Every inbox has a message someone wishes they could unsend.

A heated reply can cost more than a moment: trust with a colleague, the tone of a review, a deal that was nearly done.

The fix isn't to stop feeling things. It's a short pause between the feeling and the send. Carl gives you that pause, right where you write.

How it works

A buddy, not a monitor.

Carl with his hand on his chest STEP 1

Carl notices

When a draft reads as heated, Carl quietly holds the send and checks in.

Carl with his arms open STEP 2

You take a beat

Breathe with him for 30 seconds, ground yourself, stretch, or send a quick "I need a minute."

Questions, answered

What does Carl read?

The draft you're writing, on sites you've turned on, at the moment you press send. Never password or payment fields.

What does he store?

Only your settings and simple counts, like how often you paused. Never your messages.

Will he send anything for me?

No. Carl can suggest a short "I need a minute" reply, but you always edit and send it yourself.

Can I pause him?

Anytime, for an hour, until tomorrow, or for good. You can also turn him off site by site.

Can my employer see what Carl sees?

No. There's no dashboard and nothing leaves your browser. Carl is for you, not about you.

Can I keep work and personal separate?

Yes. Work and Personal profiles each have their own sites and sensitivity.
